In this paper we describe the thermal, mechanical, and shape memory behavior of physical blends of OBC (Olefin block copolymer) and EVA (Ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer), with and without modifiion of one or both of the components, prepared using a melt-blending method.
Ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA), also known as polyethylene vinyl acetate (PEVA), is the copolymer of ethylene and vinyl acetate. EVA is an elastomeric polymer that produces materials that are rubbery in terms of softness and elasticity. The material features are good clarity and gloss, low temperature toughness, resistance to stress cracking
21/11/2022· Silicone rubber/ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer/magnesium sulfate whisker composites containing ethylene-acrylic acid copolymer (MS/SR/EVM/EAA) as a compatibilizer were successfully prepared. Moreover, the magnesium sulfate whisker surface was modified

The completely crosslinked shape memory polymer blends (SMPs) traditionally suffer from recycling problems due to their network structure. In this paper we describe the thermal, mechanical, and sha
A process for the preparation of emulsion polymers comprising 70 to 95% by weight of a vinyl ester and 5 to 30% by weight ethylene, the polymerization being carried out in the presence of 2 to 8% by weight of a protective colloid consisting of a blend of 1 to 3
Abstract To investigate the effects of different ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) contents on the performance of wood plastic composites (WPCs) made from poplar wood flour (PWF) and high density polyethylene (HDPE), physical properties tests, mechanical properties
EVA (Ethylene-vinyl Acetate) This copolymer resin can be used in adhesives, sealants and coatings. It is the basis of many hot melt adhesives when blended with a petroleum wax and a resin tackifier. Also, it imparts plastic-like …
Ethylene-vinyl acetate ( EVA ), also known as poly (ethylene-vinyl acetate) ( PEVA ), is the copolymer of ethylene and vinyl acetate. The weight percent of vinyl acetate usually varies from 10 to 40%, with the remainder being ethylene. …
