Apply xylene or another solvent-based stripper to remove the previous sealer. Power wash until completely clean. Be careful though as dyes around the area will be damaged by the xylene if touched. In some cases, the old sealer won’t have to be removed and can instead be touched up with a solvent-based acrylic sealer.

The same applies for treating bubbles, or other film issues, when they form with solvents such as Xylene. You’ll want to apply the solvent when the concrete is at peak temperature or decreasing. For any areas that may have been over applied and are particularly thick, I recommend using Toluene instead of Xylene.
