31/1/2012· Inhaled 2‐butanone is of low acute toxicity. Irritation and neurotoxic effects have been demonstrated in persons after single exposures to 2‐butanone concentrations of 300 ml/m 3 and more. In rats exposed repeatedly to 2‐butanone, the first effects observed are liver changes at concentrations of 800 ml/m 3 and more.
